An Inspector called, as they are wont to do at regular intervals, on stages up and down the country. It's a popular play for good reasons, though - and Clare B's production of Priestley's classic was very well-received at Findon Village Hall. The mysterious Inspector's enquiry into the suicide of a working-class girl neatly skewered the middle-class arrogance of the Birling family, and left them looking with perfect bewilderment at the well-earned ruin of their comfortable existence. Just as it was meant to, in fact.
It'll be staying on the Current Production page for a little while, with review added, as we're all on our summer hols now.

The next thing to occupy that Current Production slot is looking likely "Look Behind You", by Daniel Wain. Mary liked it: she thinks she can cast it and we think we can stage it, so barring any unforeseen unforeseeables between now and then, we'll be picking it up in September.

A quick word on social activities - the annual group treasure hunt is coming up in early August, with details on the Events page.
Members, patrons, friends and relations are all welcome - others may also be welcome by invitation: if you're curious, please follow the link and ask the question.

I know there's still quite a bit of catching up to do on the website: we have new Members who are yet anonymous, an out-of-date Patron list and a backlog of newsletters to publish. But it's still progressing and might even see the light of day over the break. Depending, largely, on whether motorcycle events and the PlayStation Nation look more appealing than working...anyway, thank you for your patience.
