Events - May 2010

We're always happy to promote local (and even not-so-local) amateur drama - well, why, not: it's what we do, after all!

Firstly, here's one that's a fund-raiser, on behalf of the Sussex Snowdrop Trust. Although that might sound like a group of conservationists, it's actually for the care of very sick and terminally children. Please feel free to check out their website here: Sussex Snowdrop Trust.

The event is a Murder Mystery, with optional 1920s costume, to be performed by Castaway and held at the Eastergate Parish Hall on May 1st. Below that is a mention for Castaway's forthcoming appearance at the Edinburgh Fringe, if anyone's travelling farther afield.

Secondly, there's the next evening out with the Ashington Players, due to take place later in the month. They're offering a Revue and Ploughman's Supper (with licensed bar), including sketches from Alan Ayckbourn's "Confusions". That'll be at the Ashington Scout Hall on the 21st and 22nd May. More details are on the flyer below.

Please do not contact us about this event, as we are not affiliated to the group in any way and cannot assist with queries or tickets.
