promote local (and even not-so-local) amateur drama - well, why, not: it's what we do, after
all!

Horsham Amateur
Operatic & Dramatic Society (HAODS) are performing this
heartwarming tale of love and loss at The Capitol Studio,
Horsham from June 8th to 11th this year.
Follow six warm and witty Southern American Women as they
gossip, live, learn and laugh through life's highs and lows.
The action takes place in Truvy's beauty Salon where
diabetic bride-to-be Shelby and her mother M'Lynn are
gathered at the Salon shortly before Shelby's wedding along
with local busybody Ouiser, Town Mayor Clairee and new girl
Annelle.
The famous 1989 film of the play starred Dolly Parton as
Truvy, Sally Field as M'Lynn, Julia Roberts as Shelby,
Shirley Maclaine as Ouiser, Darryl Hannah as Annelle and
Olympia Dukakis as Clairee.
All tickets are £12 and can be purchased online via The
