CLARE-LOUISE MITCHELL

Member Since   2007
Official Role   Social Secretary
Can Be Found   Acting mostly
Group Stage Debut   As Mabel Middy in "Wanted One Body", April 2008 as a snooping maid
Group CV   Produced 2 plays, 6 acting roles, twice as prompt
Favourite Production   As I have only experienced 2 so far I have to say "Wanted One Body". It was just such a fun production and all the characters were hilarious
Favourite Role   Actually I liked the role as Daisy in the last play because as she slowly lost blood during ACT 2 she lost all ability to talk or walk in a straight line
A Bit About Me   I am South African born with Welsh/English parents and moved to the UK 12 years ago. Finished High School in South London studying Art, Drama and Design. I then moved on to College to do a BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts specialising in Acting, Directing and Stage Management. I must add at this point that it was compulsory to know two instruments to the enter the course and I scraped through with Vocals and Jembas (African drums) so music is not my strong point.
After years working in customer services within the Travel Industry I have for the last few years worked in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Development and specialist Travel Agent support within Tour Operator organisations.
After leaving shift work behind me a few years ago I was able to take up dramatics again and joined the Westwell Players just outside Ashford in Kent. They were a thoroughly good group but sadly I had to leave them when I moved to Sussex. Luckily for me I stumbled across this fabulous group of Players and have been having a jolly good time ever since. Loving village life and all it entails and was pleasantly surprised to find such a talented group of individuals with real passion and not only an excellent stage but a group of men who have added excellent stage sets, pieces and lighting!
