News, Newsletters & Forms

Might as well use it, since it's here...

The Internet, that is.

Amazingly, for a small group, it can be quite difficult to keep everyone informed as to what exactly is going on. Non-technological routes, such as word-of-mouth, or pieces of paper circulated weeks in advance can lead to choruses of: "Well, you forgot to tell me", "I didn't read that" or "Oh, was it this weekend, I lost the newsletter". Factor in the need to keep patrons in the loop as well, and a certain amount of advertising ourselves to the general public (who, we are hoping, are avid readers of this site) and communication can be a problem.

This will be the small corner of the 'net where we will try to ease that problem a little, by publishing selected excerpts of our ongoing newsletters. Please don't be offended if parts of them are anonymised: this isn't Facebook and we don't want hordes of uninvited guests descending on our events (except productions - feel free to descend on those at will!). Obviously, we all know, trust and love each other and all the people who do regularly support us, but it is necessary to a bit careful with information placed straight into the public domain...

However, if you are a non-member reading this and find there is something that you would just love to be involved in, simply get in touch via the website or  use the Secretary's details in the Contact Us page.

Alternatively, if you are a non-member wishing to join, or a member wishing to renew a member or patron subscription, you can download and print the forms here and send them with your subs to the Secretary. Sorry, we have no plans to accept payment electronically at the moment, so it's the old-fashioned cheque or cash only for now.

Most PCs come equipped with something that can read Adobe PDF file format these days, but if you have any difficulty opening the forms click here to download a free reader:  http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/reader_2/reader-interstitial.html
Select the Foxit Reader 4.0 "Try It Now" option and, when prompted, click on Run to install the program. After installing, use the "Back" button in your browser to return here.
