10: 2002 - The Hound Of The Baskervilles

An unexceptional box set, albeit quite a tidy one. In the picture above, members of the backstage crew are putting the finishing touches to the set dressing - unfortunately, we don't a good picture devoid of any people.

In all honesty, aside from providing an authentic period look, there was never much of a need for the set to do anything other than be a frame for Sherlock Holmes and his unique brand of detective work. The wallpaper was expensive, though, and we did spend time and money obtaining quality furnishings to give the right look and feel: many of which have appeared in several other productions...
